Dragon's Tomato

I think this Dragon will need all his fiery breath to help this tiny Tomato seedling (self sown volunteer) grow outdoors during our cold winter.

Potting On:
Silverbeet Rainbow Mix
Onions White

Cuttings Taken:

Bay Tree
Pineapple Guava (Feijoa)
Thornless Blackberry

Rescued Self Sown Seedlings:

Alexanders
Kangaroo Apple
Larkspur
Lemon Balm
Lettuce
Roman Wormwood
Tomatoes (????) Doubt that I will be able to keep these alive through winter but I know they would have died for sure where they were.

Planting Out:
Onion Cipollini Red

Potted on seedlings

The next lot of propagation will be Seeds of Green crops which can be sown from the 31st of May up to and including the 2nd of June.

  1. Any tips for taking bay cuttings? I had been looking nine and so many sites suggested it was near-impossible!

    1. No tips yet Anonymous I haven't had any luck before either.
I just thought how great all the cuttings were going this year so I would try some Bay. That and the fact that we are going to have to move our tree soon.
I haven't done anything more than what is in the Beginners guide on the link above but I live in hope!
