Rainy Days...Never get me Down!

We have enjoyed some welcome rain this week. Time to remove any remaining shades and let the rain fall on the new seedlings. It's great weather to plant out more seedlings.

No seeds were sown

Planting Out:
Cauliflower Mini into Pots on the Back Pergola along with...
Corn Salad
Chinese Celery
Celery
Endive
Lettuce Mesclun Mixed seedlings these were also planted in spare spots in other beds
One of the tank beds has been moved closer to the new chook runs and I will grow some greens for the girls in it...
Silverbeet Bright Lights
Pink Kale that I found in a pot from the microgreen collection
Kailaan Chinese Broccoli that I took as cuttings when I removed the plants last year...we shall see how they go.

The next lot of propagation will be Seeds of Root crops  which can be sown on the 16th and 17th of April and on the 20th and 21st of April. I'll be sowing more onions as the last lot haven't germinated very well.

You don't always need to start plants from seeds or cuttings! I just planted out the base of a bunch of celery last March 2013...and it grew...and it continues to grow. Magic!
This can work with Spring Onions, Leeks, Pineapples (if you live in the right climate) and you can even try it with Cabbages and Lettuces.
