Rain!!! It has been the wettest June on record for most of our state! The humidity it has brought has meant things just haven't had a chance to dry out at all.
One market weekend this month in the beautiful Barossa Valley. Our early morning start for the day began with Hot Air Balloons launching right next to the caravan park.
The day continued to be chilly but everyone had fun.The next weekend it was time to celebrate the Grandtwins Third Birthday "Yo Gabba Gabba" style... PoppyDoc's Castle and Fairy House were great fun complete with Fairies and Knights. The Dragons were for Microman. Nannie Scarecrow made some Yo Gabba Gabba finger puppets in keeping with the theme.
Doesn't include Greens fed to the chooks on a daily basis or herbs picked for use in the kitchen for cooking or tea making. For Salads, Juice and Stirfries I have been picking Amaranth, Silverbeet, Chinese Broccoli, Celery, Cress, Gotu Kola, Lettuce, Kale, Parsley, Beetroot and Sweet Potato Leaves and Lebanese, Upland and Water-Cress which are not always weighed.
