Sounds delicious(the edibles anyway). I've had a flurry of autumn planting/sowing too. It is nice to look forward to the new flavours of the coming season.
ReplyDeleteHi Tracy
ReplyDeleteI saw your planting list. Isn't it great that we have access to unusual varieties here in Aus!!
Always enjoy reading what you are propagating because it reminds me of seeds that I have not sown or forgotten seeds.
ReplyDeleteAre the cabbage the same as purple Pak Choy?
ReplyDeleteThe Red Choi looks good. Growing your own opens up so many options. So is it related to bok choy? Bok choy is a type of cabbage isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHi SavvyMummy Great you managed to leave a comment again!!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen a purple Pak Choy but I would think it is very similar.
Hi Jason
Yes it is a variety (unfortunately F1 hybrid so no seed saving here) of Asian Cabbage. I often look for unusual varieties especially red or purple ones! :)
It's listed on this page on the Green Harvest website.
