2009 in Photos - July


Month July 09


Borage and Calendulas have replaced the Sunflowers
around the beds.

The Weather - Temperatures:
Highest Max 18C on the 20th and 21st

Lowest Max 10C on the 6th and 14th

Highest Min 9C on the 11th

Lowest Min -3.3C on the 24th


Rainfall for the month was 35mm


This Noisy Miner Manorina melanocephala
had a fascination with the washing on the clothesline!

The Herb Spiral had another tidy
and the Canary Island Lavender was in full bloom
...even in winter!

After the storm at the end of June
the plastic cover on the Capsicum needed replacing!

Harvest for month 14.5kgs

The NZ Spinach Tetragonia tetragoniodes was at it's peak
...seen here being prepared for a herbarium sheet.
