The Ginger Girls have started to lay again.
Three of them so far!
Is this one of the layers?
Or maybe this one...
It's unlikely to be this poor little one
Or this one...but her feathers are growing fast!

Fresh eggs are so wonderful. Makes it hell to have to buy those grocery store eggs. Glad yours are returning.
Hi Sue
You're so right about that...our local store only stocks caged hen eggs...we were lucky enough to get a few dozen off our friends who free range their hens.
That's weird - our hens are starting to moult this week on the other side of the planet!
Hi Grammy
Nice to catch up :)
Hi Matron
That is weird isn't it...but I guess chooks just moult when they want to ;)
Wonderful news Scarecrow, fresh real eggs again. Had much rain yet guys? Cheers M
Hi Muzzy
I see you've have loads of lovely winter rain!!!
So far for June we have had 60mm which is more than we've had in one month since 2007 and we could still get more before Tuesday!
It's great but the weather guru's are still predicting a drier than average winter. :(
Hi Lucky
That was indeed ...er lucky ;) not to run out of eggs.
Nothing wrong with a few -C mornings it's those days turn out to be beautiful and sunny. All set to change again soon.
Still that's winter for you.
