It all looks really healthy. Good luck with the storms.
Very neat and healthy. I have tried to grow snow pea in my garden in Malaysia, but never succeeded...
You have an amazing crop of seedlings coming on and it is going into yur winter! Comparing the temps it is still a whole lot warmer than our summer! The curtain netting is a great idea, I am sure I have old ones packed away somewhere (the just in case ones)! They will start a whole new life cycle come summer.
I just remembered I meant to warn you that grapes and raisins have been found to be toxic for some dogs. Keep an eye on Luckydog!
Thanks Matron
We are aware of this. Luckydog has been eating 'her' grapes straight off the vine for ten years now and is fine with them.
A discussion on a forum recently suggested it was something that the grapes were sprayed with that caused the toxicity.
My grapes are NEVER sprayed with anything so Luckydog appears to be safe.
My dog once broke into a cupboard before easter and ate all the chocolate from 6 large Easter eggs! Chocolate is supposed to be poisonous too.. that dog lived to be 20!
Your seedlings look great! Your garden is going to be awesome.
That is just too funny with the puppy and the grapes. I've tried to get our puppies to eat the snow peas that I've been picking lately (as snacks) but they just don't seem interested LOL
Hey Matron we hear lots of stories about what to feed dogs and what never to feed them...I've also heard that they should never eat onions either. I guess moderation is the way to go.
Judy, Luckydog says thank you for calling her a 'puppy' at 15 she is way past puppyhood. :)
Snow Peas are a favourite of Lucky, straight from the vine...but at least she waits for us to pick those for her!
