The Black Ninja Says "Stop the Hot"...

Pleeeeeease! cry

Scarecrow's Log: 01:02:2009:

Temperatures this week:
Lowest Min 16C
Highest Max 43.5C
Rain 0.4mm
Hardly worth mentioning the rain
coz it dried up as it hit the ground!

This week's temps are predicted to hit the upper thirties again with 2 days over 40C before a possible cool change on the weekend! eek

The Main Veg Garden is surviving...just!

The Tromboncino Zucchinis are looking sad
but still producing new growth and flowers!

The Trees For Life boxes are being watered as they need it,
thank goodness I have that permit!

The Water Garden says "What Heat??" rolleyessmile

Over in the Dog Pen the Zucchini and Melon Bed
have extra shade pulled over in the afternoons
to stop the frizzling western afternoon sun.
The shade is removed at night
to let the early morning bees visit!

Thornless Blackberries are hanging in there
...and slowly ripening.

My Worm Farm may not look pretty
but those old towels are wet down
during the heat for cooling effect
...so far so good with the wormies...
