All Hail the Storm!

Garden Log Nov 30 08:

Temperatures this week:
Lowest Min 3.9C
Lowest Max 20.3C
Highest Max 35.1C
Rain 15 mm

That 15mm of rain came in a massive thunderstorm that brought hail in a 5 min burst...all this at 4am on Friday morning. eek
We had Lucky Dog crying at the backdoor to come in to make sure we were OK. She stayed in until daylight. wink

All the veg in the shade cloth covered beds were safe
but anything uncovered is now full of holes.

Even this baby Black Zucchini is scarred.

In the wicking bed by the chook house (at the back of the Kitchen Garden) the Giant Pink Banana Pumpkins are taking off as is one of the Cherry Tomatoes. The other one will catch up soon. lol

The Strawberry Tank bed is like a jungle...
with Italian Parsley, Catmint
and Dill flowering, the bees love this bed.
